11. Throughout the book there are different types of brotherhoods. What brought them together?
In the book Of Mice and Men there are different types of brotherhoods. One is all the men working on the ranch; Curley, Carlson, Slim, Whit, and Candy. They came together several times in the book. Once was at the end of the book. They came together to kill Lennie. And before that they came together without Curley, to defend Lennie.

12. Do you think Crooks, the stable buck, represents anything or anyone?
Yes, I think he represents the way African Americans were treated at the time. He still gets the bad end of the stick when the boss is mad, because the boss can do that. He sleeps by himself in the stable with the horses. He is constantly referred to by a racist term. This book shows through Crooks what it was like to be African American during the time this book was written.

13. Why does George travel with Lennie?
George and Lennie are an odd pair who travel together from town to town. I think George does it because he feels bad for him. Lennie is not that smart and shouldn't be left alone. Also, they mention Lennie’s Aunt Carla. George may have told her he would keep an eye on Lennie and make sure he doesn’t get into any trouble

14. Was does Curley’s Wife always walk around the ranch?
Curley’s Wife is always walking around the ranch. She always has Curley looking for her. She walks around because she doesn’t have anything else to do. Curley wants her to stay at home but she doesn’t want to. She wants people to talk to besides Curley. She is tired of hearing about fighting. All he does is fight and walk around the ranch doing work and chasing her.

15. Do the main characters George and Lennie remind you of characters from another book, movie, or t.v show?
The book Of Mice and Men remind me of the two main characters from My Name is Earl. The two main characters are Earl and Randy. Earl and Randy are always together. Earl also makes sure Randy doesn’t get into any trouble. They also have the same personality traits.

When reading Of Mice and Men one thing you notice is George and Lennies relationship. They are really close, kind of like George is his older brother. In the show My Name is Earl the two main characters are like that. Earl is always making sure nothing happens to Randy. He keeps him out of trouble and stands up for him when he can’t. George does the same thing with Lennie. Making sure he stays away from people like Curley.

Earl and George are alike in many ways. They are both the responsible ones. George knows exactly where to go when they leave for the next city. Earl knows how to get a house and how to get money. They both take understand things better. They know right from wrong and where to not go. When Randy or Lennie get in trouble Earl and George know how to get them out.
Its like Randy and Lennie should have been best friends. They get easily distracted by different things. They like small animals and always want one. Without Earl and George they wouldn’t be able to do anything. They are also physically alike. Both of them are really big. They look really tough but wouldn’t hurt anyone.

As you can see, George and Lennie and Earl and Randy are alike in many ways. They have the same kind of relationships. George is like Earl. They take care of a friend or brother. Lennie is like Randy. Try to be like the person they travel with, and getting into trouble a lot.
