In the book “Adventures of Huckleberry Finn” Huck Finns dad hits him. But, parents shouldn’t be allowed to hit their kids. This book is a good why they shouldn’t. One is if there parents are alcoholics, and hitting for the wrong reasons. But, there are some reasons why they should be allowed to hit their kids.
In chapter five we meet Huck Finns dad. He is an alcoholic. He beats Huck Finn because he goes to school. I think it because all he does is drink. If he didn’t drink all the time and spent his money good he wouldn’t be so mad all the time. Also, I think he beats Huck because he’s mad. If parents beat their kids they might do the same thing.
Some parents, like Hucks dad take it to far. They kick their kids, and beat them with sticks and stuff. They shouldn’t be allowed too. Hucks dad kidnapped him so he could get the money from Huck. His dad wanted the money he found. That isn’t fair because now he cant finished school and stuff like that.
Although there are many con’s to being allowed to hit your kids I think there are some pro’s also. If the kid deseveres to be hit maybe he should be. Some kids are really bad and have bad mouths, like Huck. If a kid curses at their parents their parents might hit them because it’s disrespectful.
As you can see there are many reasons why you should and shouldn’t be allowed to hit your kids. One reason is if they drink too much. Another reason is they might take it to far. Then there are pros like if the child is being disrespectful.

Algebra News Letter
We had to do a newsletter in math; the subject I picked was Magic Squares. The magic square is a box with numbers. All the numbers add up in different ways to be the same number. The Magic square was first found in China. They said it was on the back of the turtle, and that it was the number of things they had to sacrifice. It added up to be 15. Then Albrecht Durer invented one. His only added in the middle and around it. Finally Ben Franklin invented one. His added up and down, and sideways and come out to be the same number. People think that the sudoku was inspired by the magic square.

The Cat in the Hat
The essay you're about to read is one of my best. The essay is about the Cat in the Hat, and examples of the Id, Ego, and Superego. The reason I picked it is I have very good details. Each paragraph has at least two or three details. I have good sentence structure in my essay. There are like, two errors at the most. They aren’t even distracting, they were simple little grammar mistakes that the computer caught. So, I hope you like those parts of my essay a much as I do.
Cat in the Hat
The Id, Ego, and Super Ego, are a part of everyone’s life. They are a part of your mind. The Id is your basic wants. In this situation it is the devil on your shoulder. The Superego is the angel on your shoulder. It is other people’s wants’, the right thing to do. The Ego is you. The one who makes the decisions. The Cat in the Hat is a perfect example of the Id, Ego, and Superego.
The first part of the mind I will talk about is the Id. This is your basic wants’. It’s the devil on your shoulder that’s tells you what you want. The Cat is the perfect example. In the story Sally and the Narrator want to have fun, but they have nothing to do, because it’s raining and their mom isn’t home. Then the Cat shows up. He tells them its fine and nothing will go wring. So, they start playing up, up, up with the fish. He starts juggling stuff and dropping it, wrecking the house.
Another part of the mind I will talk about is the Superego. The Ego is other people’s wants. It’s the angel on the shoulder. The fish is the Ego in this story. The fish wants Sally and the Narrator to stop playing and be good. When the Cat brings out Thing 1 and 2 they start flying kites in the house. The fish tell the to stop because they were messing everything up, but they didn’t. Then the fish sees the mom is on her way home, the house is a mess, that’s when Sally and the Narrator think they should have listened to the fish.
The last part of the brain I will talk about is the Ego. This is you. The one in the middle, who makes the decision. In the Cat in the Hat, Sally and the Narrator are the Superego; they are the ones who have to make the decision. They have to choose, have fun and get in trouble, or be good and have no fun. They choose to have fun a first. But at the end the Narrator chooses to be good when he captures Thing1 and 2 and yells at the Cat to leave.
As you can see the Cat in the Hat is a perfect example of the Id, Ego and Superego. The Cat is the Id or devil. The fish is the Superego or angel. Finally, Sally and the Narrator are the Ego.

Picture Observation
a) In this photo the guy is surfing.
b) The guy could have been waxing his board or taking before the picture was taken.
c) He either kept surfing or fell off after the picture was taken.
d) He could have been thinking" What if I fall?"
e) The photograph was taken to show the people in a surf contest.
f) I would give it the title, "Surfer Dude"
a) Yes, the photo is telling the truth.
b) No, the photo isn't telling the full story because you don’t know what happened before and after.
c) No, it basically tells you his career is surfing.
d) Yes, sometimes one picture can tell a story.
e) The limitations are you don't know anything about the person, you just know what their doing.
f) Misunderstandings occur in pictures because not everyone knows what’s going on in it.
g) Photographs distort reality because if you don’t know where it is or what time if year it is you might not know anything about and you would get all confused.

Yes the Constitution does effectively resolve conflicts. In our I-Chip Simulation we used it a lot. One way was when we were trying to impeach the president. The Constitution gave us the right to give him a trail. Also, when we created a bill. The House of Representatives create the bill. After that the Senate approves the bill. The bill will then be run by the president. Which brings me to my final example, when Congress overrode the president's veto. If the president vetoes the bill Congress can override the bill if two- thirds of Senate and the House vote yes.

Technology.
There should be limits on technology, specially in schools. Right now myspace is blocked. But it is blocked for many reasons. Like they don't want us getting hurt. If we have a myspace it is easier for rapist to get our information so they can find out where we live and stuff. On myspace, there are 87million users, one fourth of them are minors. For example one case being investagated is about a 19 year old boy raping a 14 year old girl. They meet on myspace. They called each other and messaged each other for a few weeks. Then, they decided to meet. After he took her to a movie and dinner, he raped her in the back of his car. That is why the school discrcit blocks myspace. It is there responsibleity to keep us safe during school hours.
